Rinehammer as Village Administrator and appointed Jamie Davis as interim replacement, then passed emergency Ordinance 2026-06 setting new sewer rates. At the June 11 council meeting, Forest Village approved road closures for the Tree Town Festival, accepted a no-cost Neptune water meter pilot program, and addressed ongoing infrastructure repairs. The Splash Pad is set to open no earlier than July 13, and the police department received a 50% state grant for new body armor.
