Welcome to the Village of Forest, Ohio

The Village of Forest will resurface S. Gormley, Railroad, and Campbell Streets from October 4 through November 25, 2026. No parking signs will go up in these areas for the length of the project.

Forest Village Council met on August 27, 2026, with all 7 members eventually present. In executive session, the council terminated J. Rinehammer as Village Administrator and appointed Jamie Davis as interim replacement, then passed emergency Ordinance 2026-06 setting new sewer rates. Committee reports covered fire hydrant repairs, park vandalism, and upcoming appropriations work with the Fiscal Officer.

Forest Village Council met on August 13, 2026, with 4 of 6 members present. The council appointed Derek Hastings to the Fire Department, tabled the PWC application resolution, and approved the Kokosing Construction bid for street projects. Committee reports covered police activity, park maintenance, and a new policy requiring written resident permission before releasing water bill delinquency records.
