2026–2027 Trash & Recycling Collection Calendar Now Available

The Village of Forest 2026–2027 collection calendar from Rumpke is now available. Trash is collected every Friday, with recycling picked up every other week on the same day (weeks are highlighted in red on the calendar).
Holiday Delays: If a holiday falls on a weekday on or before your regular service day, collection is delayed by one day. Holidays falling on a Saturday or Sunday do not affect the schedule. Observed holidays include New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
What to Recycle: Paper/cardboard, plastic containers (caps off, straws removed), metal cans & cups, and glass bottles & jars (any color). Please do not include plastic bags, metal hangers, batteries, or medical sharps.
