Amending Village of Forest 2026 Temporary Allocations

The Council of the Village of Forest, Hardin County, Ohio met in regular session on the 8th day of January 8, 2026, at the office of the Village of Forest with the following members present:

  • Loretta Perkins

Mary Dickinson moved and Valerie Mullholand seconded approval of the amendment of 2026 Temporary Allocations for the Village of Forest of the following resolution:

WHEREAS, This Council in accordance with the provisions of law has adopted a Tax Budget for the next succeeding fiscal year commencing January 1st, 2026. The following will be amended for the 2026 Temporary Allocations.

2021- State Highway Revenue
Decrease expenditures from $71,000 to $61,000

2041- Parks and Recreation
Decrease expenditures from $205,000 to $200,000

2101- Permissive Motor Vehicle License Tax
Decrease expenditures from $12,000 to $9,500

3901- Debt Service
Decrease expenditures from $20,000 to $19,500
Increase transfers in from $20,000 to $30,000

5101- Water Operating
Decrease expenditures from $802,700 to $801,700

5601- Solid Waste
Increase revenue to $185,000
Decrease expenditures from $216,000 to $184,300

BE IT RESOLVED: By the Council of the Village of Forest, Hardin County, Ohio, that the amounts and rates, as determined by the Village of Forest Fiscal Officer are hereby accepted.

BE IT RESOLVED: That the Village of Forest Fiscal Officer is hereby directed to certify the amending temporary allocations for 2026 and a copy of this Resolution to the County Auditor of said county.
