ORDINANCE NO. 1676

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 512 AS AMENDED

AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF FOREST, STATE OF OHIO;

SECTION I. Paragraph B of Section 14 of Ordinance 512 as amended is hereby amended to read:

Second, such balance remaining after providing for the expenses referred to in Paragraph A, above, and after the payment of 20% of said balance into the Park and Recreation Fund, shall be appropriated by Council for the following purposes.

General Fund 90%

Debt Service, Fire Truck 10%

SECTION II. This ordinance shall be an emergency measure, the particular emergency being the immediate need to reallocate income tax revenue between the general fund and debt service. Therefore, for the immediate and best protection of the public peace, health, and safety, this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor.
